Q: Why is my phone in a bowl of rice?

A: Because I dropped it in the Toilet!

Yes it is true.  After a much needed nap on Wednesday afternoon I stumbled into the bathroom to do....something  and I dropped my phone in the toilet!  Yes it was gross but luckily I had just cleaned to toilet and I hadn't yet used it.  So I reached my hand in as fast as I could and pulled out my phone.  But it was obvious that there was water already in my phone.  So I dried it off as much as I could and rushed to the computer to see what I could do.  Anyway there was this article about this guy who did the same thing and he had put is phone into a thing of rice because I guess rice is supposed to suck water out of the air... Anyway his phone worked a couple hours later so I thought I would try that to and guess what?!?! I worked!  I let it sit in the rice over night and today it works just as good as it did before the dip in the toilet:)  Happy day for me!

Memories Game

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together.  It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If you don't have a blog, please comment as anonymous (but include your name).

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.  It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.  If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog when you post it, or I will email you back

We are moved plus John Mayer

this isn't the best picture of my hair (actually it isn't good at all but atleast you can see the color red in it in this one)

Mario and Wendy   They are moving to Indiana and we will miss them tonz

We had also set up our TV outside so we could watch a movie in our tent.

We had to bring our sword out with us because as you all know ogden isn't the safest neighborhood and we didn't want to go without a weapon

This is a short blog but, we now officially are the proud owners of the internet at my apartment so I promised my sisters that I would post something.  I promise now that I have internet my postings will be more frequent.  Anyway here are a bunch of pictures from when we went to John Mayer (that was Westin's birthday present...He loves John Mayer) and some random pictures of when me and Westin set up our tent outside and then decided it was too cold and then set it up in our living room.  Enjoy!  Also I died/bleached my hair by myself the other day.  I don't really like it but I just need to wait a while before I fix it.

It's official! We are moving to Provo in 2 weeks!

Okay friends. So Westin and I were both a little bit discouraged earlier this week because we still didn't have any leads on any jobs we had applied for. So, we made it a goal to apply for some more, and follow up on ones we had already applied for. Now, as of Friday, we both have had job interviews (within a day of each other) and we have both had job offers (within hours of each other, which we accepted). I will be working as a Secretary at American Fork Hospital in their Infusion Services and Diabetes Clinic. Westin will be working at the Missionary Mall in Orem. We are both very excited, and feel it is such a blessing to be able to of found jobs in such a densly populated area of college aged students. As of right now I don't know for sure when we will be moving. Probably the first part of the week of the 7th (week after cokeville for those of you who know what I'm talking about). Anyway I'll keep you posted.

Last 4 weeks in review

I know I have been a completely terrible blogger lately. I don't really have any good excuses other than I don't have internet at my house. Anyway, thanks to Heidi's new feature on her blog I realized what a slacker I have been (thanks Heidi) so even though I am at work and have no pictures I am determinded to update my blog. So here is a list of things going on in my life, right now and the past 4 weeks. (in no particular order)

1- The move to provo is going slow. We are still waiting to find jobs before we venture south :(
2- Westin has a job interview today :)
3- Westin and I got season passes to Lagoon:)
4- On the first ride we went on our camera fell out of our jacket and the screen is now broken:(
5- Leisa came to my moms house with the baby Cole and I got to hold him and play with him:)
6- Fathers day! Happy Fathers day Dad! I love you tonz. Thanks for all you do.
7- Work, work, work

that pretty much sums it up. I'll try to get some pictues posted soon!

Welcome Cole Steven Wallace!

My beautiful sister Leisa finally had her gorgeous baby boy, Cole Steven Wallace,  May 12, 2008 around 3:00 PM.  He was 7 pounds 15 ounces, 21 inches long and he is just adorable.  We went and saw him Monday night after he was born.   So cute!

Westin and little Cole

Wally's sister Ann Marie, with Cole

I couldn't help but get a picture of his little feet.  All ten toes are there

Doesn't Leisa look so good!  She will be such a great Mom!

I know this is blurry but look how much blonde hair he has!  I love it.

Congrats Leisa!  You make such a beautiful Mom!  You and Wally will be such great parents!

Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door

Okay I know this is a little bit nerdy of me but I have to say how excited I am that I finally finished Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door!!! YAY! It only took over 50 hours. Thanks Heidi for letting me borrow it.

Now I'm on to Zelda: Wind Waker! Way super fun if I can say so myself. I don't know why I have't been more in to video games before. They are fun, they challenge your mind at times, they promote great eye hand coordination... I like them. Just a little fact about video games, The surgeons getting out of medical school now are extremely more precise, and accurate when they are in the OR and they are attributing it to Video Games that they played when they were younger. Just FYI

Anyway, thanks for looking, don't forget to post a comment.
