3 years!!!!

Thats right! It has been 3 years since I married the best man on earth! I won't bore you with any lovey dovey lists of why he is so great, or what has been the best part about the last 3 years (at least not this year), but I will say that I have loved being married and I just can't wait for the rest of eternity! Love you Westin!!!

(This is one of my favorite pictures of Westin and Serena. Just chilling on the couch together... LOVE IT)

Happy Halloween!!! I have tons of pictures I have been wanting to put on the blog, so today you are in luck because I have 3 posts today! Don't you feel privileged.

I have really been loving Halloween lately. I am not sure why, maybe because I have a little one I get to dress up or because I have just been more involved lately but I just LOVED this past Halloween season. I made Serena a little Joan of Arc costume (and when I say "I" made, I really mean that my mom told me exactly what to do and pinned everything for me so I could say I did it myself), and I made Westin a viking costume. I bought my Cleopatra costume. Anyway, by time it got down to Halloween time I was feeling pretty good about the effort I put towards it.

Here is Serena holding up her sword.

Not the best picture but it shows the whole outfit

Me as Cleopatra and Westin as Eric the Red (the most famous viking)

Another cute one of Serena. She seemed to like her cousin's Samari more than her sword.

Also, we found some cute animal costumes that my Mother In Law had and Serena just loved playing in them. I think she looks pretty cute, Don't you?

Clarky, took some cute pictures of Serena in her Tutu a while ago and Emily just sent them to me. Aren't they ADORABLE! Clark does such a great job!

I hope you just LOVED my post. Don't forget to look at the other 2 posts for today!

We had our annual Pumpkin Carving/Chili night the Friday before Halloween, and it was a BLAST! I tried to get Serena to play with the pumpkin guts but she wasn't interested.

Here I am showing her how fun it is to squish the guts between your fingers.

She thought maybe I should eat some pumpkin seeds.

Getting a little more interested.

Getting brave enough to stick part of her hand in there.

Anyhow here are our finished products!

Westin's Goblin man. He decided to really "carve" his pumpkin this year. I LOVE how it turned out with the candle's light and the lights off.

I am obviously not the best pumpkin carver, but this year I did a witch. I like it.

Hope you enjoyed! You've got 1 more post to look at! COMMENT!

October Post 3 of 3

Westin got some free tickets to Black Island Farms (a big corn maze and fall fun place) from work this year, and then we found out his brother, Jon, also got free tickets. So we packed up the kids one Monday night and off we went! We had so much fun and were so glad Jon, Leslie and the boys were able to come with us!

Serena hanging out on Daddy's shoulders. We brought her stroller but she didn't want anything to do with it.

Westin coming down the "Big Slide" with Serena. I know it isn't that great of a picture but it's all I have to document it.

In the corn maze. We actually only went through the little kid maze.

Serena playing in the "sand box" it was actually just popcorn, but it was pretty fun still.

The grandkids going down the kiddie slide

Serena sitting on a tire

Isn't this the silliest picture?

Hope you enjoyed all my silly posts today! Enjoy! COMMENT!!!
