Post 2 of 3

December came with lots of activities for our Family. First We went to Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. It was surprisingly not too frigid and only started snowing just a little bit.

Here we are in front of The Christus at the Visitors Center

And in front of the reflection pool.

Next on our list of activities for December was to make a ginger bread house from scratch! Little did we realize how much work that actually is! If you are wondering where the finished product is... well, December just wasn't quite long enough. Next year we will plan a whole week to work on it!

I am sad I didn't get a picture of the 2 headed ginger bread man Westin made:(

Lastly, on our list of December adventures we went to the Ogden Christmas Village with Westin's parents, sister and nephews. It was lots of fun, and Serena LOVED it! She kept saying over and over "pretty" and "lights" and "wow"! Christmas is so much funner when you have a little one!

Here is Westin and Serena and bundled up and ready to go!

Serena, with her cousins looking in a window!

Looking up at the pretty lights

Love the gingerbread cookies and half done house. Is that what I need to do to get people to leave a comment on my posts, beg?

This was such a FUN night! Thanks for coming and I love the pictures - I need to get some copies to send to Alora.

So, are you going to keep the half started gingerbread house to give you a head start on next year . . .? =}
